Relocation Gaborone

ABOUT

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

Sean-handling-a-Black-Mamba

Snake Relocation have been catching and Relocating Snakes in and around Gaborone since 2016. We approached the Department of Wild Life and National Parks to get the relevant permits in place to allow us to relocate Snakes within the Rules and Regulations set by DWNP.

We then teamed up with Mokolodi Nature Reserve and Renovated their Snake Park and ran that with MNR for a few years.

In 2019 we bought a 4 Hectare property in Mokolodi 1 and Built a Reptile Sanctuary of our own. This Facility can house up to 80 Snakes, Monitors, Tortoises and we rehabilitate injured Reptiles with the Help of Various Vets that assist us.

We acquired all permits requested from DWNP and have a fully functional facility which includes a training room, ablutions and Breeding Facility for Food requirements for the Various Snakes. We can monitor the Facility Temperatures via Cell phone as well as CCTV Coverage of the whole Facility which is alarmed and Secure.

At present we have 4 Staff Members who assist in daily running of the Facility. The Facility is open to the Public from 9am to 4 Pm Tuesdays to Sundays and on Mondays is closed for Feeding of the Reptiles.
