SNAKE MYTHS
- Snakes do not just attack people. If you are about 5m from a snake it will not approach you to attack
- Snakes do not move around in pairs
- If a snake is killed, you do not need fear the partner will come for revenge
- It is unlikely that a person will die from a snakebite within a few minutes
- Puff Adders do not strike backwards
- Snake repellents such as oil, Jeyes fluid, plants, garlic etc. Do not work!
- Keep your gardens uncluttered and clean.
